What should our family wear?
The golden rule is to coordinate rather than match identically! Pick 2–3 cohesive colors (like creams, soft blues, rust, or muted earth tones) and add texture through knits or linens. Avoid loud graphics, neon colors, and identical white-shirts-and-jeans outfits.
What if my kids won’t sit still or cooperate?
Do not worry at all! Kids are meant to move. I keep sessions active with walking, cuddling, tag, and tickles. You will never hear me asking them to stand still and smile awkwardly for an hour.
Where do we meet for outdoor family pictures?
We shoot throughout Lancaster County! Popular spots include Middle Creek Wildlife Preserve in Stevens, open parks in Lititz, and scenic natural settings around Ephrata, Akron, and Denver. If your family has a sentimental private property, we can shoot there too!
What happens if it rains on session day?
We keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your date. If rain or stormy weather rolls in, we can seamlessly reschedule to a backup date or pivot to our cozy indoor studio space in Ephrata.
